We do not take insurance, although we’d be happy to supply a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

We are specialists in all things fertility, reproductive health, and women’s wellness. That includes everything from trying to conceive, working in conjunction with IVF and IUI, pregnancy loss, period problems, hormone imbalances and general lifestyle wellness.
We offer validated parking in the below ground parking lot on the right hand side of Fifth Ave. It is the parking structure associated with the Village Hillcrest and the Cinema. At your first visit we will spend about 30-40 minutes discussing your fertility journey thus far, your complete medical history, and any lab work, imaging, or diagnoses we are working with.
Then, you will receive your first fertility acupuncture treatment which will last about 30 minutes. After that, we will take another 30 minutes to discuss supplements, lifestyle factors and other protocols that you can start implementing immediately to positively impact your fertility.
You will leave feeling heard and understood with a team of integrative specialists on your side. Best of all - you will finally have a clear plan moving forward!
Then, you will receive your first fertility acupuncture treatment which will last about 30 minutes. After that, we will take another 30 minutes to discuss supplements, lifestyle factors and other protocols that you can start implementing immediately to positively impact your fertility.
You will leave feeling heard and understood with a team of integrative specialists on your side. Best of all - you will finally have a clear plan moving forward!
The first visit includes the full fertility consultation and initial acupuncture treatment and takes 1.5 hours. Follow-ups treatments are 1 hour.

Whatever you like! We primarily do acupuncture below the elbows and knees as well as the abdomen.
Not at all. All of our practitioners have a very gentle, relaxing approach that will put you at ease. Most patients will even take a little nap while on the table.
We require all fertility patients to receive weekly acupuncture treatment for 3-4 cycles. This is where we see the most success in helping our patients reach their fertility goals.
Absolutely! Our fertility acupuncture specialists are able to travel to your clinic in San Diego and offer onsite treatment before and after your FET to help support implantation and circulation to the uterus.

All of our practitioners are board-licensed acupuncturists by State of California. Each of them have earned a 4 year full-time graduate degree in Chinese medicine and pursued advanced training in integrative fertility and women’s health.
Yes! You can also see a different practitioner each week if that works better with your schedule. The Aphrodite team works collaboratively, so any practitioner you see will have access to your chart and will be fully informed about your case, enabling them to provide you with only the best continuity of care.

Masks are required to be worn by all practitioners and patients while in the clinic. We use only the best sterile single-use acupuncture needles. We have HEPA air filters in each treatment room and change over clean sheets between each patient. Our clinic is kept clean and pristine by a cleaning crew that comes in twice weekly. All common surfaces are routinely sanitized.
