Initial appointments at Aphrodite are 1.5 hours and consist of three parts.

1. A full fertility history
2. A short acupuncture and red light therapy treatment
3. A detailed explanation of what is going on diagnostically and clear plan on how to treat and move forward.

With every subsequent visit at Aphrodite, there will be time to check in and discuss any developments in your fertility journey, evaluate where you are in your menstrual cycle, and check in on general wellness and lifestyle factors.

Follow-up acupuncture treatments are around 30-35 minutes long and we will provide customized treatments based on what phase of your menstrual cycle you’re in or where you are in your IVF cycle.

Our treatments always include other modalities such as Celluma red light therapy to boost mitochondrial health in the ovaries, infrared heat lamps to boost warmth and circulation in the body, and ear acupuncture. Where applicable we also implement moxibustion to build the uterine lining, electro-stimulation to boost ovulation, ear seeds, and cupping and massage.
