The discovery of Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT) in the the treatment of fertility came about when a Japanese doctor had been applying LLLT to treat a post-menopausal women’s back pain. After receiving laser therapy, her back pain was healed, AND she had miraculously restarted her menses. It was determined that the LLLT had invigorated her ovaries and reignited ovulation.
Further research out of Denmark and Norway showed LLLT was helpful in promoting pregnancy in women aged 34-50 years old. 239 women treated with LLLT resulted in a 66% increased pregnancy rate. The oldest woman who became pregnant in this study was 50 years old.

How does it work?
