How to Thrive During the Two Week Wait (TWW)

I'm Emily!

Our mission at Aphrodite is to pull women out of the darkness of infertility and to get them to the family they've always wanted. We are totally into educating our patients so that they can make the most informed decisions about their reproductive health.

The Two Week Wait is the slowest moving weeks of the month.  Here are three easy ways to thrive.

Repeat Positive Affirmations

Any time an intrusive thought sneaks its way into your head repeat one or all of the following:

  • I trust that our baby is coming.
  • I trust that my body will conceive our baby.
  • My body knows how to grow and carry our healthy baby.
  • My body and hormones are in perfect balance. I feel healthy, strong and fertile.
  • I am ready to become a mother.

Find Comfort in Simplicity

Watch your favorite comedy tv shows/movies, wear your favorite cozy slippers, enjoy some comfort food with your hubby.

Some of our fav “casual watching” shows for the two week wait are:

  • New Girl
  • Friends
  • The British Bakeoff

Our top comfort food choices in San Diego are:

Resist Social Media Binging and Return to Books in the Two Week Wait

  • Wild Hope
  • The Red Tent

And of course come in for acupuncture, which can not only calm the mind but help with implantation and blood flow to the Uterus. We’ve helped over 1,000 women and are looking to reach a million more! If you’re not located in San Diego we can still help – book a virtual coaching appointment with us and we’ll help you reach your family goals.
