Think exercising hard is benefitting your fertility? Think again.

We know it can be a hard pill to swallow to hear that doing HIIT or Orange Theory everyday is actually hindering your fertility more than helping it. You may ask, isn’t exercise a good thing?

While it is absolutely important to keep the body moving as a means to increase blood circulation, there can be too much of a good thing.

Excessive exercise like hours of cardio a week, daily HIIT workouts, sweating excessively, exercising as a means to “earn” your food all signal to the nervous system to be in a state of fight-or-flight which can and will majorly impact the state of your fertility.

We recommend moderate exercise like walking 30 minutes a day, pilates, strength training, and non-heated yoga as the best fertility exercise out there.
